Returning to Play at Baldoyle BC

Leinster Badminton warmly welcomes our players back to the Baldoyle Badminton Centre. We have been busy preparing for your return, making sure that the centre is set up as a safe environment for you, our staff and volunteers. We are following BI’s Guidelines on Returning to Play and ask that you familiarise yourself with all requirements

Some useful pieces of information for you for this phase.
•Courts will be available for a limited time daily, from the week starting 13th July and will increase over the coming week.
You can now play doubles-with the same partner.
•We will ask you to leave the courts 5 mins early to ensure we all social distance properly.
•Restrictions and requirements have increased considerably since March, so please be patient and just follow the rules!
•A Covid Officer has been appointed to monitor adherence to the restrictions. The Officer has the authority to terminate a booking or ask someone to leave the centre if they refuse to adhere to requirements.
•A one way system has been introduced to enter and exit the Courts and showers and changing rooms are out of bounds.
What you need to do now:
Register to play on line:
https://baldoylebadminton.mycourts.co.uk/ ( which you can access through Leinster Badminton Website) to book and pay for your bookings, as cash is no longer acceptable. Every player, in addition to the Booker, must now be registered on the booking system.
1. REGISTER ON THE BOOKING SYSTEM

Go to Baldoyle Badminton Centre’s web page

In the “MEMBER LOGIN” section on the top left hand side of the page, click on the link titled “New Member Application” .

Fill in all the required information and click on the “Submit” button.

Note that for Juveniles, the parent/guardian must use their email and mobile number, with the registration under the name of the Juvenile.
An email will be sent to you with your login details.

2. TO BOOK A COURT / BUY CREDIT

Go to Baldoyle Badminton Centre’s web page
https://baldoylebadminton.mycourts.co.uk/

In the “MEMBER LOGIN” section on the top left hand side of the page, enter your user name and password and click the “SUBMIT” button.
Click on the “Buy Credit” link. Enter the amount you wish to buy and click on the “Continue” button.

Click on the “Continue to Payment” button, enter your credit/debit card details and click on the “Pay” button.

3. Add Opponents/Players:
Playing partner/opponent – as the Booker you must ensure their names are entered on the booking system as this meets the requirement for contact tracing.
After you select your booking time, you will be asked to select your opponent(s). Click on the yellow “select opponent(s)” button and on the following page select your opponent(s).

4.Disclaimer
Disclaimer Required
Each player must read and submit a Disclaimer to Leinster Badminton prior to returning to play. The Disclaimer document includes the detailed dos and don’ts for play during this phase. You will receive the disclaimer via email over the weekend and you must submit your acceptance by checking the box at the bottom of the disclaimer and clicking on the “Submit” button. All disclaimer must be on record before you return to play. Every player must submit one and Parents must sign for each juvenile player.

5.Common Problem for Bookers: Unable to add an opponent/players:
There are two reasons why this can occur:
Player is not registered on the system
Player has Data Protection Privacy on

In both case, the Booker will have to contact the other players/opponents and ask them to either register or change their privacy setting.
Future Bookings:
After the initial booking, we are required to always have the morning of your next court booking, confirmation from you that the information in the disclaimer remains unchanged. This is required from all players.
