Covid-19 Level 5 restrictions and closure( Oct 2020)
Dear Players
Badminton Ireland published their press release yesterday, which is attached for your review.
This states that neither singles nor doubles can be played in Level 5 and that all badminton activity must cease from midnight Oct 21st until further notice.
Therefore, it is with regret that I am writing to you to confirm the closure of Terenure and Baldoyle Badminton Centres from midnight on Wednesday 21st Oct. This is in line with Level 5 restrictions and more information can be found on the Gov.ie site (copy attached) which provides the latest information on how Ireland is responding to cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
In the case of players who have booked a court in either centre between October 22nd and November 11th, we will cancel the booking and refund the fee to your account.
We will inform you as soon as the Centres are able to re-open and look forward to welcoming you back as soon as possible.
